Itinerary

Luang Prabang (2 Nights)

Scheduled tour guests, ‘Mumbai to Mumbai’ will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, as per the respective flight departure time to proceed to Luang Prabang – an ancient capital of Laos lies in a valley at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers. Upon arrival at the airport, our CITraveller  Manager will guide all guests with airport formalities and lead the way into the city.
Scheduled tour guests, joining from other Indian metro cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Delhi, etc., will travel independently as per their respective flight booked by CITraveller. Upon arrival, CITraveller Manager will meet these guests at the airport and guide them with airport formalities and lead the way into the city. CITraveller consultant will provide more information and guidance of the same. Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own at the first destination as per the information and guidance given by the CITraveller consultant. J&L guests should book their to and fro air tickets as per the arrival and departure time of the scheduled tour flight to get the airport transfers with the group. In case of early arrival or early departure the transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the J&L guests. (Kindly note that the standard hotel check-in time is typically at 15:00 hrs onwards but may vary depending on the hotel's policy.) In the evening, we visit Luang Prabang Night Market for shopping.

Today we visit Kuang Si Waterfall – Here we admire the beauty of a three tiered waterfalls and its shallow pools filled with turquoise water, followed by a visit to Deer Park. Kuang Si Waterfall in Laos is home to golden deer in legend. The word kuang in Lao means "deer". Further we visit Royal Palace Museum – also known as the National Museum. Later we board on traditional Lao cruise sailing through Mekong river and relish on a traditional Lao lunch. We then visit Pak Ou Caves – two famous caves in the limestone cliff are crammed with myriad Buddha images.

Luang Prabang – Vang Vieng (1 Night)
Today early morning we proceed to Tak Bat and see the queues of monks leaving the pagodas to beg for food from the locals and visit the morning market. Later we proceed to Vang Vieng by a high speed train. Vang Vieng – known for its natural beauty and caves. Upon arrival, we visit Tham Phu Kham Cave and Blue Lagoon – Witness the majestic bronze Buddha statue, a symbol of serenity. Adjacent to the caves lies the mesmerizing Blue Lagoon which offers crystal-clear waters amid lush greenery. In the evening we visit Nam Song River and enjoy a tail boat ride.

Vang Vieng – Vientiane (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Vientiane – National capital of Laos dotted with mixture of French-colonial architecture with Buddhist temples. Upon arrival, we explore Vientiane city, we visit Pha That Luang (Great Sacred Stupa) – a large, gold-covered Buddhist stupa in the centre of the city of Vientiane, Patuxay (Victory Monument) – a war monument dedicated to those who fought in the struggle for independence from France, Ho Phrakeo – former temple now turned into museum which showcases rich history of country, Wat Si Saket – a temple with an impressive collection of 2000 Buddha statues and COPE Visitor Centre.

Today we visit Wat Xieng Khouane Luang Buddha Park – an open-air sculpture park in the meadow by the Mekong River. It features over 200 Hindu and Buddhist statues, including a massive reclining Buddha, mystical deities, and surreal mythological figures. Further we stroll along the Mekong River where we admire the stunning sunset. In the evening we visit Vientiane Night Market which takes place along the Mekong Riverfront.
